High School Placement Counseling

At Lacordaire, we view the placement process as a partnership that supports each child in finding a school where they can thrive academically, socially, and personally. Our approach is rooted in care, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of each student’s unique strengths.

Our placement process includes:

  • Introducing families to the range of high school options, including independent, boarding, Catholic, and schools with specialized programs
  • Maintaining strong connections with admissions offices to advocate for our students
  • Offering guidance on school visits, open houses, and application timelines
  • Preparing students for entrance exams, interviews, and application essays
  • Highlighting each student’s individual talents and character through detailed and personalized recommendation letters
  • Coordinating transcripts and application materials with accuracy and professionalism
  • Assisting families in exploring financial aid and scholarship opportunities
