  • Full Time Elementary Teacher

    Lacordaire Academy, a Catholic independent PreK to 12 school, is currently seeking a full-time elementary school teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must have a desire and willingness to support the mission of Lacordaire Academy. 
     
    Qualifications: 
    - State Department of Education Certification 
    - Degree in elementary education, or a related field 
    - Ability to bring learning to life and experience with differentiated instruction, reading and writing workshops, technology, and inquiry based learning 
    - Possess positive classroom management skills 
    - Experience in a classroom setting as a teacher preferred

  • Humanities Teacher (Long Term Leave Replacement)

    Lacordaire Academy, a Catholic independent PreK to 12 school, is currently seeking a full-time Middle and Upper School humanities teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must have a desire and willingness to support the mission of Lacordaire Academy. 
     
    Qualifications: 
    - State Department of Education Certification (preferred, not required) 
    - Degree in education and/or a humanities related field 
    - Experience and passion for working with students of varying age ranges
    - Ability to effectively teach a variety of courses, incorporate critical thinking and problem solving strategies, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
    - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues 
    - Knowledge and application of best practices in instruction and classroom management
    - Experience in a classroom setting as a teacher preferred

    Qualifications: 
    - State Department of Education Certification (preferred, not required) 
    - Degree in a science related field and a strong scientific background 
    - Experience and passion for working with students of varying age ranges
    - Ability to effectively teach a variety of courses, incorporate critical thinking and problem solving strategies, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
    - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues 
    - Knowledge and application of best practices in instruction and classroom management
    - Experience in a classroom setting as a teacher preferred 
    - High level and AP course experience preferred

    ? Passion for mathematics and ability to apply mathematical concepts to today’s world
    ? Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
