A Note from Saydi Callahan Keefe, Director of Enrollment and Advancement

Dear Families,

We understand that transferring to a new school is a significant decision for your entire family. Whether you are relocating, seeking a better fit for your child’s social or emotional well-being, or looking for an educational environment more aligned with your values, we are here to listen and learn about your needs.

As a small, selective community, Lacordaire Academy is committed to making each transfer student’s transition as smooth and welcoming as possible. From the moment your child joins us, they will be embraced with warmth, guidance, and support to help them thrive both academically and personally.

Our hope is that Lacordaire becomes a second home for your child—a place where intellectual curiosity flourishes, meaningful friendships are formed, and the joys of childhood are celebrated every day.
We look forward to connecting with you and supporting your family on this journey.

Kind regards,
Mrs. Saydi Callahan Keefe
Director of Advancement and Enrollment Management

Transferring to a different school can be hard, but it was easy for me because everyone was so friendly. The work is a lot, but in the end, it is for a better education.

Take the Next Step:

We invite you to schedule a visit to Lacordaire by completing the form for the division that interests you. During your visit, you will have a conversation with our Admissions Director, take a walking tour of the campus, and spend time focusing on the grade level or academic areas most important to you. If you decide to proceed with an application, the parent tour will also fulfill the parent interview requirement.

Something that really helped me with the transfer to Lacordaire Academy was the students. The girls are all so nice and easy-going. This helped me ease into the new environment faster than my other schools. It was definitely something I was afraid of before going to a new school. Making friends can be very hard, but the students make everything comfortable and even help out with school work if you ever need it.
