We have been blessed to call Lacordaire home since 2022. From the beginning, my husband and I gravitated towards Lacordaire because of its alignment with our Christian values and its commitment to academic excellence—both of which have deeply enriched our son Sumner’s educational journey. At Lacordaire, Sumner actively participates in forensics and basketball and he recently helped lead the debate team to victory in two competitions!

Beyond the classroom, our rising 6th grader enjoys swimming, reading the Bible and playing the piano. Lacordaire’s faith-based environment has also nurtured Sumner’s spiritual growth, inspiring his involvement in ministry at our church, where he serves as both an usher and a junior deacon.

This school year, I am honored to serve as an Executive Board Member and class parent for the 6th grade, and I look forward to contributing my expertise to the Lacordaire community in these new roles. We are grateful to be part of such a vibrant, mission-driven school that continues to shape our son into a well-rounded and compassionate young leader.
