CYO Basketball Tips Off a Winning Winter Season

Lacordaire Academy’s winter basketball season opened on an impressive note this week, with all three CYO teams securing victories in their first games. Energy was high across campus as players, coaches, and families celebrated a strong start to the season.

 

The 6/7/8 Girls Team delivered the most dramatic finish of the week, clinching a 55–53 overtime win at home against St. Cassian’s. 

 

The 7/8 Boys Team also protected home court, earning a solid 39–29 win over St. Al’s. 

 

Rounding out the sweep, the 5/6 Boys Team traveled to St. Al’s and came home with a hard-fought 42–38 win. 

Congratulations to all players and coaches on a fantastic opening week. The Lions are off to a roaring start—and the season ahead looks promising. Go Lions!
